Diana was born in California but grew up a Maryland girl after moving across the country with her family. While she was a teenager, she worked as a babysitter and loved to be around children. She attended the University of Maryland, where she earned a degree in Journalism with a minor in Marketing. Diana had a successful professional career for many years but ultimately chose to leave the corporate world to raise her four children. Later, upon realizing her children had various learning differences, Diana decided to homeschool. She then devoted her time to learning how to teach and accommodate different learning styles. Diana ended up teaching for thirteen years, and now all her children are adults who have either successfully graduated or currently attend college. From Diana’s experiences in education, she began tutoring students in the Bethesda area in 2014 to help them apply learning and memory techniques to be more successful students.

At PrepMatters, Diana continues her love of learning and teaching in helping students achieve their personal and academic goals. She helps students to develop strategies to be more organized and customizes her tutoring for each individual student.
