Bio
Gillian is a biology enthusiast and recent graduate of Yale College, where she studied Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. She is from Washington, D.C. and attended Georgetown Day High School. Gillian tutored introductory math in undergrad and has taught math, science, and SAT preparation at a handful of DMV area tutoring centers. She is excited to connect with PrepMatters students and help to prepare them for success in college and beyond! In her free time, she is working through a long classical literature bucket list and practicing her tree identification.
Philosophy
Like everyone lucky enough to have had great teachers, I recognize what a great responsibility it is to be involved in a student’s academic journey. At PrepMatters, my goal is to both connect with and challenge my students as my best instructors have. Let’s build strong foundational skills, tackle tough problems, and gain the confidence to set high standards for ourselves!
