Bio
Lindsey Bowman was born and raised in Lehighton, a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Following high school, she attended Wilkes University and earned her B.A in English with concentrations in both writing and literature.
During her time in college, Lindsey worked during the week at her campus writing center and helped tutor students and peer review their essays. She would then return home on the weekends in order to work as a freelance journalist for her local newspaper.
Following graduation, Lindsey and her fiancé moved to the DMV area. She was drawn to PrepMatters because of her tutoring experience during college. As part of her work here as an office coordinator, she utilizes her writing experience by corresponding with families and writing the weekly staff newsletter.
Outside of work, you can find Lindsey spending time with her fiancé and friends, curled up with a good book, or snuggling with her two cats!
