Chief Operating Officer





Jennifer has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2011 and strategically engages diverse responsibilities as chief operating officer. Her duties include management of PrepMatters daily operations, legal compliance and risk analysis, administration of human resources and employee benefits, and oversight of IT and security systems. Jennifer also undertakes special projects that support the overall mission of the company; for example, she represented PrepMatters on the design and construction team for the 2017 Tenleytown, DC office buildout.

PrepMatters serves thousands of unique student clients and their families each year and the operations team aims to provide each with an exceptional experience. Jennifer develops and manages the operational processes, which are designed to support clients from their first point of contact through placement and delivery of service. She coordinates and enables the seamless flow of ancillary supports provided by our client service concierges, the PM placements team, and our accounts manager. Jennifer believes that well-designed policies and procedures are premised on the intelligent use of information in order to achieve a flow in the workplace that strategically supports successful client engagement.

Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, in addition to a certificate in employee benefits law. She has been active in educational policy, having served as general counsel for the Joint Policy Board for Mathematics, congressional liaison for the National Science Foundation, and senior legislative associate for the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and Labor.
