Practice Test Registration

To better prepare for official test dates, students can take our free, proctored practice exams, which simulate actual testing conditions and test content. Students receive a diagnostic report, which includes a score and feedback on specific areas that need work.

Signing up for standardized test practice exams is easy:

  • Choose your location: McLean, Bethesda, or Tenley.
  • Choose your date, time and test.
  • Register with PrepMatters BY 4 PM FRIDAY to reserve a seat for the weekend test.
    • By webform for Bethesda, McLean, or Tenley.
    • By phone: 301-951-0350 or 703-356-6391.
    • By email: mdcsd@prepmatters.com.
  • Please be sure to report any testing accommodations at the time of registration.

Students are urged to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the practice exam. Please bring a snack, pencils, analog watch, and an approved calculator (if applicable).

Parking is available in nearby public parking lots (Bethesda) or the parking lot at the rear of the building (McLean).

Late-arriving students will be asked to wait until the start of the next section to join the test already in progress or to take the next available practice test on a space-available basis.
