After earning her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, Kristen’s curiosity and love of teaching brought her to Jakarta, Indonesia, where she taught English literature and grammar to students from preschool through middle school. She returned to the US to take her JD from Georgetown Law Center.
Over the years, Kristen’s interest in supporting students has blossomed to include tutoring, test prep and teaching piano. Her knack for breaking down complex topics and processes into accessible and simple explanations serves her as well tutoring as it does practicing international economic law.
Kristen’s interests include teaching English, history, public speaking, and economics. In her free time, she enjoys running and listening to classical music.
The best test prep includes not only practicing the material, but also practicing test day itself. I make sure that my students know what to expect, so there are no surprises on the big test day. Deconstructing the test experience is necessary to practicing strategically and getting the best score possible!
