A native of upstate New York, Chris Bullwinkle migrated south to Baltimore, Maryland when he received a full scholarship to study Biomedical Engineering and Economics at Johns Hopkins University.
Chris has spent the last nine years as a professional tutor helping students successfully prepare for standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and the MCAT. He also works with students on a wide range of math and science academic subjects.
When he’s not ACT tutoring, Chris enjoys rock climbing, running long distances, and anything involving live music.
My teaching philosophy can be boiled down to two key ideas. First, that you practice like you want to perform. And second, that no question, asked sincerely, can ever be stupid. Give me a student who engages with their weaknesses and strives for excellence, and I guarantee that I can help that student succeed.
Chris is an amazing tutor. He has an uncanny ability to tailor his explanations of difficult concepts to accommodate each individual and their learning style
Working with Chris was not only incredibly beneficial, but it was also enjoyable. I would recommend that anyone who wants to become more proficient in a subject work with him.
I got my MCAT score back and I’m very excited to say I got a 35! Thank you for the materials, patience, positivity and time.
What an amazing tutor! Chris has an incredible knack for breaking down complex concepts and communicating them in a way that students understand.
