Emerald was born and raised in the suburbs of Northern Virginia. She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Studies, and minored in Biology. During her time at the university, she became the Director of Fundraising for the non-profit organization Students Helping Honduras, where her love and interest for education came into fruition. She is a huge advocate for youth empowerment through education and believes all students can reach their full potential. As a Placements Advisor, she hopes to ensure that all students are happy and successful. In her free time, Emerald enjoys doing yoga, hanging out with her friends, and exploring the monuments of DC.
