Experienced tutors - test preparation (Bethesda or McLean)
We are looking for bright, dynamic people to join our team. In addition to the SAT, we tutor for the whole alphabet of tests: SAT Subject Tests, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, GRE, GMAT, & LSAT exams. We also work with many students seeking help for their academic courses. Part-time test preparation and academic tutors start at $30-$60 an hour depending on experience. We are looking for folks who would like to work at least 10 hours per week during busy seasons.
PrepMatters tutors can schedule meetings on weekdays or weekends (or mornings if you're so constituted). Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a friendly, vibrant staff.
have a bachelor's degree
have at least two years of test preparation tutoring experience
be able to teach all areas of the SAT (math, critical reading, writing)
have an honest expectation that they will be able to work for at least two years with PrepMatters.

Evening Client Service Concierge - (Bethesda)
PrepMatters, Inc., is the premier source in the Washington metro area for one-on-one test preparation, tutoring and educational counseling. Our Bethesda office is looking for a reliable and highly organized professional to join our team as an evening client service concierge. The position starts immediately. Hours are Monday through Thursday 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. The office is four blocks from the Bethesda metro stop.
The primary responsibility of the client service concierge is to support clients with excellent service. The evening client service concierge has significant direct contact with students, who come for evening meetings with tutors. The client service concierge engages clients with professional poise, while demonstrating excellent communication skills and adept verbal expression.
Superior organizational skills and a strong aptitude for mastery of detail are essential. Client inquiries are received in person, as well as over the phone and by email. No client question is insignificant and the client service concierge is committed to respond with information that is timely, accurate and complete.
The ideal candidate will have:
a college degree
superior organizational skills
the ability to manage a fast-paced environment in a professional manner
an interest in working with educated and successful clients
Hourly Rate: $15.00
Location: Bethesda Office
Hours: 2-7 pm, Monday-Thursday
